The Miami Institute of Urogynecology and Minimally Invasive Surgery wants to share with you that our clinic is open and available to take care of women and their Gynecological and Obstetrical needs. Following the Florida Medical Association recommendations, we will continue to see patients for the purpose of evaluation and management, as well as continue to see and treat patients for chronic and acute conditions, perform wellness exams, contraception and care during pregnancy. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.
Every day we are re-evaluating best practices and will be communicating with you as needed. Your safety and well-being is our top priority and we will be implementing the following protocols and appreciate your understanding and full cooperation:
*If you have travelled internationally in the last 14 days, we ask that you reschedule your appointment
*If you are experiencing a cough, fever or flu like symptoms please reschedule your appointment and contact your doctor immediately
*If you have recently tested positive for the COVID-19 (aka Corona virus) or believe you have been within 6 feet of someone who you know or believe tested positive within the last 14 days, please reschedule your appointment.
*Only scheduled patients are allowed into the examination room for their appointments. This means all family, friends, and/or care takers accompanying the scheduled patient must wait downstairs or their vehicle while the patient is being attended to. We cannot allow any exceptions.
*Upon arrival to your scheduled appointment, please come to our front desk and notify us your arrival. We will perform a quick screen and notify you when you are ready to be seen.
*Upon entry to our office we will ask the scheduled patient to wash your hands.
